virtual reality in schools

PSHE VR was founded with the purpose of improving the social education of our future generations through the use of immersive technology (Virtual Reality).

Our mission is to improve the impact of personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) programmes delivered in school to give every child and young person the knowledge and understanding to make informed choices.

Our vision is to lead the way in the development of effective social education which improves outcomes in our society for everyone.

Our Mission

We offer a 3D animated video – Always Running which tackles criminal exploitation of children in the context of county lines.

The video is designed to be delivered using VR headsets in a classroom environment as part of an hour lesson and embedded within a scheme of work.

Our Solution

The Always Running Project

Since 2015 the percentage of children 'in need' aged 10 years or over has increased from 48% to 55%, with the two older age categories reflecting a long-term increase. In particular, the proportion of children in need aged 16 or over has increased from 18.2% to 23.2% in the last six years.

New figures reveal 12,720 children in England were identified by social services as being at risk of criminal exploitation by gangs in 2020/21.

Children at Risk

Through immersive delivery, school pupils can be helped to navigate potential safeguarding issues through an online tool that uses virtual reality (VR) to place them in realistic scenarios.

We believe that by pioneering the use of VR, young people will receive highly engaging Personal, Social, Emotional, and Health (PSHE) lessons that not only raise awareness across peer groups and teachers but can protect our young people from harm.

Immersive Delivery

A multi-agency response is needed to tackle county lines and keep children involved safe from further exploitation.

We are building collaborations with key partners and are interested to hear from:

Youth Offending Teams

Police Outreach

Local Authorities - Education Teams

Safeguarding Teams

If you're interested in collaborating please get in touch.
